Mobile on the rise
Media consumption is on the rise and according to statistics by eMarketer, on average the American consumer spends 11 hours a day interacting with major media, with the Internet representing the second largest share of media time after television and video viewing. Time spent using mobile devices is reportedly growing faster than all other media and the so-called ‘Three screens” – television, internet and mobile- together represented almost three-quarters of all media consumption in 2010.
